Special guest and live music performance by Jake T Espinueva!

Jake Espinueva (Tojou) is a music producer and flute beatboxer who has been playing shows around San Diego — gaining recognition for his integration of flute behind sick beats. Combining elements of jazz, hiphop, and electronic music, Espinueva creates a truly unique, vibrant live show. Utilizing Ableton Live, MIDI controllers and his flute for the Up&Coming reception, Espinueva will create live loops and improvise over audio tracksand using audio effects and extended flute techniques.

The UCSD Up&Coming Student Film Festival, with special MC Jaspreet Kaur, is going into its 8th year!! This highly-competitive festival, selected by a panel of film industry professionals, always surprises with a broad spectrum of themes and styles. ALL formats welcome – from smartphone films to expensive cameras.
