Something We Don’t Know is the result of a partnership between artist Kim Garcia and students in the San Diego Mesa College Museum Studies Program. This project explores the relationship between artists, curators, and viewers as they negotiate the spaces intended for viewing works of art.

This exhibition is part of MCASD’s Millennial Engagement initiative, supported by an Exploring Engagement grant awarded by Irvine Foundation. This innovative initiative seeks to expand arts engagement for ethnically diverse college and university students in San Diego by inviting them to collaborate with millennial artists.

The event will take place from 4 to 7 PM at the San Diego Mesa College Art Gallery's Courtyard. A conversation with the artists and participants will take place from 5 to 6 PM
