Undergraduate artist Alice Musher explores the dynamics between line and gesture, the construction and alteration of typography, and tests the limits of control when it comes to fixed and loose gesture. In her current series, she also references construction with the use of house paint. Musher presents us with the relationship between body and language, and the materialization of both, within straight and curved marks. The spectator is left with pathways that are activated by color to immerse oneself within the start and finish of line.
