Taking the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego’s summer exhibition, Holdings: Selections from MCASD’s Collection, as a point of departure, UC San Diego’s CAT124 Exhibition Building class presents Dimensions of Collecting, which delves into the multitude of possibilities involved in the formation and display of a collection, including the practices of finding, selecting, amassing, saving, and treasuring.

Join us for an interactive showcase featuring original artwork by UC San Diego students Alon Ankonina, Tsz Kan Amanda Chong, Amy Wysocki, Dante Escrofani, Dêlectâre, Yikai Wang, and Yu Jung Kim.

The artworks in this showcase were produced and curated through class discussions with Michael Ano, UC San Diego MFA candidate; Cris Scorza, MCASD Education Curator; and Ricardo Dominguez, UC San Diego Professor of Visual Arts.

Museum admission is always free for guests 25 and under during regular Museum hours (11 AM-5 PM). The Opening Night Tickets are free for Members; $10 for non-members. Street parking available.
