KULT invites you to join in for the pre-discussion that kickstarts the series: Deconstructing the Artist Talk. This event is free and open for everyone to join to investigate and deconstruct the notions of the "artist talk".

DECONSTRUCTING THE ARTIST TALK:
Deconstructing the Artist Talk is a series that investigates and deconstructs the notions of the "artist talk". During the series KULT will be curating artists and challenging their new found interpretation of the "artist talk" asking them to consider their internal and external conditions of their presentations. After the pre-discussion, the artist presentations will be weekly on Friday nights and will be free and open for the artist(s) to critically think about their presentation/performance with the audience, their space, and the concepts that inform their practices.

This series hosted by the Students Make Art Initiative, UCSD and the UCSD, University Art Gallery.
