MFA Alumna micha cárdenas will be speaking on december 3rd at the University of Oregon in Eugene at the 2016 James Tiptree, Jr. Symposium: A Celebration of Ursula K. Le Guin. Welcoming scholars, luminaries, and fans of speculative fiction to Eugene, the University of Oregon will host a two-day symposium dedicated to the life and work of Ursula K. Le Guin on December 2-3, 2016. cárdenas will be speaking on the relevance of Le Guin's work for transgender women, transfeminism and trans women's reproductive rights.
