The two Mobile Homestead videos follow a full-size replica of the front of Mike Kelley’s family house as it travels from downtown Detroit westwards along Michigan Avenue to its original location in suburban Westland, and then back, encountering and documenting urban decay and deep socio-economic disparities along the way.
