“Intertwining the Fabric of Generations” an exhibition about identity, community, and storytelling. “Intertwining the Fabric of Generations” will present artwork by Faith Ringgold, a 93 year old internationally renowned artist alongside narrative quilts by local Palm Springs Unified School District students. The exhibition will be celebrated with a reception on Thursday, February 2, from 5:00 to 7:00pm. On Sunday, February 12, there will be a live Skype discussion between Faith Ringgold and the PSUSD student artist apprentices.

“Intertwining the Fabric of Generations” was organized by the Palm Springs Art Museum in collaboration with the Palm Springs Black History Committee at the James O. Jesse Community Center.
