Kanbar Forum

Exploratorium Artist-in-Residence Nina Katchadourian works across various media—including photography, sculpture, video, and sound—incorporating playful juxtapositions and conceptual twists to provoke us to re-see everyday natural and cultural phenomena.

As part of the Exploratorium's ongoing series exploring the creative process, join them for a conversation between Katchadourian and Marina McDougall, Director of the Exploratorium Center for Art & Inquiry. Katchadourian will describe her two-year process of investigating themes of memory, patience, and boredom; culminating in the new work Floater Theater debuting at the Exploratorium this week.
