It’s surprising that you don’t see many entrepreneurs shopping around for some new technology to fund at UC San Diego’s Interdisciplinary Computing in the Arts & Music (ICAM) presentations.
Angela Washko has been busy between working on ambitious new media projects, performances, residencies, curating exhibitions, and organizing events, all while forwarding a feminist agenda.
It consisted of 22 different six-second works by various artists, all created on the Twitter-owned app Vine, where users share bite-size videos.
Research showcase featured "engineers who think like artists; scientists who think like poets; physicists who think like dancers."
