Around the time most people were rushing out to grab lunch, a small group of art enthusiasts were rushing into The National Museum of Women in the Arts...Faith Ringgold’s “American People, Black Light” was the highlighted exhibit. Known for her bold statements on race and gender, patrons seemed to all express the importance of the showing to the D.C. community.
