Jean Lowe was born in 1960 in Eureka, CA. She earned her MFA at the University of California, San Diego in 1988, and her BA at the University of California, Berkeley. Her work has been included in more that fifty exhibitions throughout the U.S. and internationally. Recent solo shows include venues such as Rosamund Felsen Gallery, in Santa Monica, CA, and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, MO. She is represented by Quint Contemporary Art in La Jolla, Rosamund Felsen Gallery, and McKenzie Fine Arts in New York.
Selected Awards: CalArts/Alpert Ucross Residency Prize; WESTAF/NEA Regional Fellowship (2).
