Biography:
Derek Lomas is a designer of collaborative social environments that empower the distributed production of art and ideas.
Derek grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He enjoyed theatre and cellular biology.
At Yale, Derek studied Cognitive Science, specifically Music Cognition, Usability, Cognitive Ergonomics, and Computer-aided Learning. He basically fell in love with brains. Falling asleep at night, Derek would see neurons.
Derek would like to use his knowledge and love of Cognitive Science to make video games that make people smarter. Or at least more interesting.
