Rob Duarte conducts research, through visual art, into the social and cultural components of technology. At the moment, he is focused on how specific historical and contemporary technologies both drive and are driven by politics, fear and power. His installations and sculptures reflect on these ideas by way of subversion, intervention and sarcasm.

Rob has degrees in Information Systems, Computer Science, and Sculpture from the University of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts College of Art. He is currently studying in the Visual Art MFA program at UC San Diego.
