Zac Monday is a recent graduate from the VCU Sculpture Department in Richmond, Virginia. He is currently seeking his MFA from the Visual Arts program at UCSD so he can take over the Art World. His work is specific to a new kind of museum/gallery experience; one in which the work is interactive and physical. His tasks are to analyze particular scenes in which the body is given a choice: to be aggressive or passive or even indecisive when encountering nameless, foreign obstacles. These presently take the form of hand-crocheted behemoths and other such mystical and shamanistic creatures. He is working to create- yet also to perceive his own knowledge of human interaction, and what pilots physical choice in emotional experiences.
