Faculty Advising Hours

  

Winter 2013 Faculty Advisors and Office Hours

Faculty Advisors provide guidance in their respective areas.  They are knowledgeable in the areas and can provide insight for future jobs and graduate schools.  They also review petitions for any changes to a students curriculum, such as using a study abroad course or a community college course to count towards the major.

Petitions should be taken to the appropriate faculty advisor depending on the course that is being petitioned.  For instance, all Art History courses (even for Media, Studio, or ICAM majors) must be taken to the Art History faculty advisor.

Lower division courses include:

Media:  VIS 60, 70N, and VIS 84
Art History:  VIS 20, 21A, 21B, 22, 23
