Fang is responsible for faculty and graduate student research computing needs at the Visual Arts Facility.
Kate manages all aspects of the M.F.A. and Ph.D. program, including admissions, TA assignments, faculty advisor selection and curriculum. Kate is also responsible for advancements, graduate support, research grants, scholarship awards and job referrals. Kate oversees the undergraduate advising area and is responsible for long-term curriculum planning.
LYnn is the primary contact for undergraduate office walk-ins, providing programmatic and academic advising to current and prospective students. Lynn handles quarterly registration, current quarter schedule, textbook adoptions, custom course materials, course evaluations, Mandeville Annex Gallery schedule (undergraduate and class exhibitions) and update of departmental brochures.
Sheena is responsible for all aspects of public relations and program promotion for exhibitions, activities and events sponsored by the Visual Arts Department.
Jackie has overall responsibility for the Department which includes, but is not limited to, the day-to-day administration, fiscal management, personnel management (both staff and academic), academic program management (both undergraduate and graduate), curricular planning and scheduling, space and facilities management, equipment management and building security.
Shannon manages the networked administrative computers and provides technical support and training for Visual Arts staff. Shannon oversees the establishment of email accounts and network connections for the department.
Jacquie is responsible for the management and preparation of all academic files, including
coordinating the processing and submission of academic review files for administrative approval.
Jacquie manages the faculty recruitment program and all visiting faculty appointments. In addition,
she maintains the Chair’s calendar, advises Chair and faculty on all academic personnel...
Tad coordinates the use and maintenance of all Visual Arts studios, shops, classrooms, and labs as well as the equipment contained therein. Tad also serves as the Department's safety coordinator.
Yuka is responsible for all financial matters concerning the Department. In particular, the Financial Coordinator handles payroll, benefits, personnel, ID cards, course budget requests and purchasing.
Fred is responsible for providing equipment and safety operations training for all shop tools and machinery at the undergraduate and graduate woodshops and graduate metal and machine shops. Fred also supervises the undergraduate woodshop during its hours of operation, which change with each quarter’s class schedule.
