Biography:

Cat Gunn is a non-binary transgender and queer artist from Baltimore, MD. They make paintings that highlight moments of their life that are romantic, sentimental, nostalgic, and tragic. Through abstraction they create an underlying narrative of growing up queer, forming relationships, falling in and out of love, and examining the world around them. They are currently experimenting with ceramics and the alchemy of glazes. They received a BFA in Painting and a MA in Professional Studies (Art History Concentration) from Towson University.
