UC Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention

Each member of the University community has a responsibility to help make our campuses safe. This training is for UC employees who are required to complete California’s AB1825-mandated training for supervisory employees. It provides information on preventing and responding to sexual violence and sexual harassment, and what each of us can to do to make our UC culture safer for all. As mandated by California Law AB 1825 (Gov. Code Section 12950.1), law requires two hours of sexual harassment prevention training every two years for supervisory, faculty, and MSP employees, including those who oversee students.

You can completed the online training or register for the classroom training via the UC Learning Center

To login to the UC Learning Center: 

  • Go to: https://uclearning.ucsd.edu/
  • Log in with your Single Sign-On username and password (Health Science/Health System employees, please select “Active Directory” from the drop down menu on the login page)

To complete this training online:

  • Click the To Do List/Assigned Training icon
  • Click green Start button next to UC Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Supervisors and Faculty

You may take the course in more than one sitting. A “bookmark” function will remember the modules you have already completed. The use of pop-up blockers will affect your ability to launch and complete this course, please disable all pop-up blockers. To register for one of the Classroom Trainings:

  •  Enter the keyword “SHP” in the Search field on the Learner home page of the UC Learning Center
  • Click Register next to the classroom training you would like to attend:
      • Sexual Harassment Prevention: Life Theatre’s Survival Guide
      • Sexual Harassment Prevention: The Survival Guide
  • Select an upcoming date from the list of offerings, click Next. Then Submit to finalize your registration.
