Mural, Video, and Statement from 3B Collective
This gesture was created by MFAs and faculty and in dialogue with the Visual Arts Department. This was an action as an internal reflection on the work we within the department are actively committed to working harder on. The mural reminds us, as we come and go in and out of the visual arts department, of the work we have to do.
We welcome the opportunity to facilitate a more public gesture on Library Walk or at the main entrances to campus, as implied by the support shown [on Juneteenth 2020] by UCSD administration.
