Undergraduate Showcase 2019


The Department of Visual Arts offers five undergraduate majors: Art History Theory and Criticism, Media, Studio, Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (ICAM) and Speculative Design. Additionally, the Department offers minors in several areas of study: Art History, ICAM, Digital Video and Film Production, Photography, Speculative Design, Studio, and History and Criticism of Film and Video. The scope of the courses offered is wide and concerned with developing a coherent and informed understanding of past and recent developments in art and art history.

Kamil Gallery


The Adam D. Kamil Gallery is now also online. This gallery is a site for undergraduate art shows and hosts the annual reception and exhibition for students that participate in the Adam D. Kamil Media Awards. Visual Arts majors and minors at the junior or senior level are eligible to submit a proposal to show in the Kamil Gallery for one week during the academic school year. Past online exhibitions remain viewable with the artists' permission.

Undergraduate Facilities

The Department of Visual Arts offers undergraduate students access to various galleries, fabrication shops, and labs. Access to these spaces is dependent on current course enrollment.
