Francisco Eme (1981) CDMX - OAX, is a music composer, multimedia artist, and gallery director who lives in San Diego. The Arts & Culture Director at Casa Familiar and Gallery Director at The FRONT Arte & Cultura, a trans-border art gallery in San Diego, US - Tijuana, MX, Francisco primarily works with sound in his practice, integrating other diverse disciplines as well. His work has been presented in museums, galleries and concert halls nationally and internationally. He has released collaborative music albums, and also has solo projects in various genres, mainly electroacoustic, experimental, and electronic. He is a San Diego Art Prize Awardee 2024.
Hector Castro (he/him/el) is a community organizer from San Ysidro, CA. He is the arts and culture coordinator for Casa Familiar, The FRONT Arte y Cultura gallery, El Salon at the Living Rooms at the Border, and the UCSD-CASA Community Station. Focused on collaborations in San Diego’s local DIY arts and music scene, Hector engages with his community as an organizer who engages in curation, art direction, and promotion, implementing production across art, music, performance, installation, and multimedia.
