John Dombroski works with sound, experimental music composition, performance, and cinematography in site-specific installations. Using microphones and lenses, he creates physical systems that connect and activate architecture and found objects, questioning the ways in which our audiovisual, neurological, and cognitive systems produce sensory experience. By reorienting sound and image perspective, Dombroski highlights the social and material histories embedded in sites.
