Biography:

MFA 2022

Matt Williams is an artist living and working in Southern California. He examines what it means to author a work of art in a world that has been deeply marketized and industrialized. His work probes at the physical and mental confines surrounding works of art in order to consider both latent and manifest functions inherent to the works themselves. He received his BFA from California State University Long Beach and is currently pursuing an MFA at the University of California at San Diego.
