Born in Los Angeles, Sam Wohl graduated from the Pratt Institute of Brooklyn, NY in 2007 with a BFA in Painting. After spending two seasons working for the U.S. Forest Service, Wohl moved to Bay Area 51, San Francisco, Ca in 2008, and exhibited work at the Fort Gallery, Oakland, and Conflux NYC. He went on to work on the films "Beasts of the Southern Wild", "Mediterranea", and "Swiss Army Man" as a sculptor/builder. He has been living in Los Angeles since 2012, illustrating comic books, and directing short films. His work has been reviewed in Alibi Magazine, Art Practical, and Cinefex.
