Biography:

Felicity Yin is a doctoral candidate in the PhD Program in Art History, Theory and Criticism with a specialization in Chinese modern art at the University of California, San Diego. Her research explores intersections between the history of graphic design, global modernism, and print and media culture during the first half of the twentieth century. She is currently working on a dissertation focusing on Zhang Guangyu and the graphic artists’ circle in Shanghai during the 1930s and 1940s. She has presented her research at the Association for Asian Studies and other conferences and has been teaching history of non-western art at San Diego State University.
